The Bull Club Update | The Next Chapter…
After weeks of debating and deliberating, the next move for the LunaBulls has finally been decided on. This blog highlights the next move and how we plan to achieve it. This was an incredibly tough decision that we had to make as rationally as possible. As you can imagine there were lots of emotions clouding everyone's heads over the last few weeks. We understand that many people won’t like our decision, and we are sorry for that. But we hope you stick with us — we absolutely love our community!

The LunaBulls are heading to Solana, as The Bull Club. And Eventually Interchain.
Yes! I’m sure many of you are shocked at this decision and trust us when we say the team is incredibly sad that we are leaving the Terra Ecosystem as it was the place where we were born and bred and the community is incredible.
However, we are incredibly excited to make this move. We have a new goal in the roadmap: to go interchain. We plan to have our home base on Solana and then bridge the Bull NFTs to all chains that are developing metaverse gaming platforms (and other utility) that the Bulls can be implemented in. This would be a first (again) in the NFT space. The primary goal for the short term is to keep evolving as a project and we believe we can achieve this better on Solana.
The Solana Ecosystem has its issues, we know, but we made the call based on these main points:
- Volume is there — The NFT ecosystem is thriving on Solana and there are many great projects on there. We truly believe we have the ability to make a statement in the Solana NFT scene. Our top priority was to bring value back to the project as fast as possible, and we feel moving to Solana is our best bet for this. We decided that we couldn’t bet on the uncertainty of the Terra 2.0 ecosystem thriving.
- Developers — Luckily, our developers are able to build on all chains we have been debating about. And they’re fully capable to develop smart contracts on Solana (and quickly as well).
- Rebrand — There was overwhelming support for the rebrand to The Bull Club and we couldn’t be happier about it. Rebranding to The Bull Club allows us to expand as a brand and doesn’t tie us to any specific chain. There aren’t many brand-orientated projects that are building smart contracts and multiple layers of utility on Solana and we think that we will stand out on the chain.
The Transition to The Bull Club
After hearing your thoughts about the future pitches that we presented, there is overwhelming support to rebrand from “LunaBulls” to “The Bull Club”. Our team also thinks this is the best decision as it allows us to expand and not be tied down to a particular chain and design. We also believe it is a much better brand name and model as it becomes more of an exclusive club rather than PFPs.
We believe The Bull Club can become a much more recognizable NFT project across the entire NFT and crypto space.
Our goal on the Terra 1.0 blockchain was to push The Bull Club DAO as our main product, so this sudden opportunity to rebrand has worked out great. However, the rebranding process has many steps to get where we need to be — below it’s a breakdown of the process needed to fully Launch as “The Bull Club”. The main downside of this transition is that it will take some time to get it done.
We also could do a soft launch, then a full launch once smart contracts are migrated to the new chain. A soft launch would include bridging just the NFTs so they’re on the new network and marketplaces, then launching the Bull Club interface when it’s ready shortly after. But the team thinks launching all at once would be the best in terms of impact and noise. Delivering a complete product is always the better option in our opinion.

Trait Redesigns (why?)
Two main reasons:
- Detach ourselves from LUNA and Terra: We think that it is in the best interest of everyone that we redesign the Terra-related traits. Whilst Terra was where the Bulls were born, and played a huge part in their success, we feel that being attached to another blockchain/brand is holding the collection back — by changing to The Bull Club, we essentially become a lot more independent and enables us to grow at a much larger rate. Also, as seen in recent events, the brand we have been attached to (Terra) collapsed and we essentially were dragged down with the ship. Rebranding gives us a fresh start with no strings attached.
- Improve on the already designed layers. Hindsight is 20/20, especially when designing NFTs because there is no going back unless we find ourselves in this unique current situation. We will be redesigning multiple layers to improve on their designs — most notably some background layers — we believe some layers take away too much from the bull.
We have to redesign both 2D and 3D layers. This will take some time, but we should be able to get this done in 2–3 weeks.

Website Changes
Luckily, we don’t have to change too much for the rebrand of the website. We simply have to remove all LunaBulls branding and replace it with The Bull Club branding. This shouldn’t take more than a week for designs and development to be completed.
We cannot wait for you all to see what we have been working on.
Optimize Interdimensional Smart Contracts
One thing that we are able to do now because of the transition is optimize the interdimensional side of the smart contracts. This means rather than having to swap between 2 different NFTs, we will be able to make the Bulls inter-dimensional via dynamic metadata. This makes it less clunky and a lot more seamless for the marketplaces and wallets.
Launch Migrated Smart Contracts and Fresh Front End
We are lucky to have a development team that is able to develop smart contracts on Solana, although this will take some time to develop the contracts to different standards. We estimate this to take up to a month. The front end is basically done apart from the brand changes, but the smart contracts are needed to be completely migrated so this will take some time.
When this is ready we aim to launch the website, portal, and marketplace listings all at the same time for our full launch.
Marketing Plan
Although we believe our product in its entirety will strive for itself, we believe having a well thought out structured marketing plan to gain immediate engagement and traction wherever we decide to end up going will be essential. This will include contracting a well-versed advisor within the Solana ecosystem and several promotional trailers, events, and posts.
The goal is to come in with a huge impact and significant noise. We want to turn heads. We believe we have the appropriate team and resources to do this. We will make this marketing plan semi-public for transparency. We will also be welcoming any input from the community for ideas on what we could do too in regard to marketing.
New Business Model/Roadmap
We will have a well-thought-out Business Plan as each chain will have different capabilities, volumes, and partners, so timelines, marketing, and everything in-between will have to be adjusted appropriately.
We will publish our plans publicly as we believe you as our investors deserve full transparency.
This should take 1–2 weeks after our chain announcement. This plan also may be altered in the future to cater to new/different opportunities that arise.
Overall Timeline
We aim to complete the transition by the end of June/start of July, give or take. It’s incredibly hard to put an exact date on it as there are many variables and these variables quite often change. Once we have successfully completed the transition we will continue the roadmap for toxic tesseracts and metaverse characters.
We once again appreciate all of your support and patience. As you can imagine this is an incredibly “interesting” and tough time for our team and we want to make sure that we execute everything professionally and as well as possible so that the project lives on and strives.
Toxic Bulls and MetaVerse
As for the Toxic Bulls and Tesseracts — We will be modifying the toxinomics a bit. Unfortunately due to the collapse, we lost most of our team and DAO funds so we will have to monetize the Toxic Bulls in order to fund further developments. We will have full details released on this soon.
As for the metaverse characters, they are still being developed. We will have more news to share veeery soon 👀.
The Baby Bulls
The Future of the BabyBulls is still being discussed. They won’t likely be going to Solana because the original plan for them was to build an Arcade with a variety of games. We were in the middle of developing the “Bull Dash” on Terra, but development has halted until we make the right decision for them. Stay tuned!
As for Terra 🌕
We still have a lot of love for the Terra community. It breaks our hearts that we are having to make this move, however, we will stay in the loop with the whole ecosystem. It’s likely that our team will launch a bridge in the future and potentially another project. Terra will always be in our hearts.
